The kittens by now are into EVERYTHING, they LOVE people and like to climb on
everyone. Their personalities are starting to emerge, and I am enjoying
each and every kitty. They have
quickly learned to climb their scratching posts and are starting to bat around
some balls. I am please the kittens are eating/drinking on their own and
exploring the litter box. They are right at the age where they begin tussling with each other.
This tussling is actually helping to build their social skills, the longer
kittens get to interact as kittens, the better their human social skills and
bonding abilities become. Many breeders feel 12 weeks is adequate for developing
social skills, while others a 16 week bench mark. In Europe the general accepted
policy is 14 weeks. Now is a good time to start exploring good toys for your
kitten. You want a selection of balls and long feather or string wands, also
known as teasers. My best recommendation for cat toys is to purchase them at cat
shows. Pet chain stores, simply don't provide the entertainment value or
