I don't believe in over vaccinating. FIP and Bordetello are two good vaccines that could be used in "real" cattery/shelters settings with large number of cats coming into contact with other felines. While FIP and Bordetello are possible even in my home, the likely hood is extremely low. Its is low because I take precautionary measures to protect my cats from harmful community diseases by using several isolation techniques, monitoring by my vet, and knowing/working with reputable breeders. Breeding is not always easy, for example, isolating the kittens from other cats until they are first inoculated is very challenging. Cats immune systems are not fully developed until they are 1 year of age, so protecting new kittens is important.
