Thought you might like an update on the two kittens (Lucy and Fred). Where to begin????
I'm beginning to discern some personality characteristics...Lucy is the curious one and loves to climb. In our kitchen, we have a kitchen table and banquet in front of four large windows. This morning at breakfast, Lucy jumped up on the window screen and started climbing to the top of the screen. That was after she tried drinking out of my water glass. Then it was Fred's turn to come flying out of nowhere and skid across the table knocking my FULL water glass onto the floor.
Day #1, they spent most of their time in the kitchen and master bedroom. Day #2, they ventured (with my supervision) through the house for an hour. They are really smart. They sleep in our room and wake us up around 6:30 for breakfast. They can really move. I noticed they have bursts of energy and then it's nap time. They love to sit on my lap in the late afternoon and take a nap. If I read a book, Lucy sits on top of the page I'm trying to read. Attention starved!!! They purr a lot and follow me everywhere. If Fred can't see Lucy or me (if we're behind the island in the kitchen and he can't see us), he'll call for us. He doesn't like being alone. They are so cute. John is really taken by them.
They love their sisal posts. Lucy hasn't found the Christmas tree yet but I suspect she will before Dec. 25th. Oh well. They are great company.
It's obvious that they have been raised with lots of love and attention and we really appreciate all that you, your family, Sophia and Beringer did in raising them. They have fantastic personalities and we are having a great time with them.
I'll take some photos and send them to you.
Thanks so much.
Cheerio.

Dear Amy,

We took the boys to the vet to be boarded while we were on a trip. Leah had told them that the boys probably needed to be in a large kennel together because they were so close. They didn’t listen to her and put them in separate kennels. They said they needed to know if one of them wasn’t eating or going to the bathroom. When we went to pick them up, they were in the same kennel with a sign on the front that read, “Double Trouble.” The staff informed us that the boys would not stop crying for each other and kept reaching out to snag the clothing of anyone who tried to walk by them. Then when they were let out for playtime, they worked hard to make up for lost playtime by knocking over whatever wasn’t nailed down. Thus, they got the name “Double Trouble.”
We have various nicknames for them, Double Trouble, Thing 1 and Thing 2, Baxter Bean, D.C. Bob, etc.
They bring nothing but joy to our family.

Dear Amy,

You cannot believe the joy that we feel as a family with welcoming our two kittens into our family. From the moment we arrived back home from BWI Airport, we played with the kittens until bedtime at 9:30 p.m. They are just delightful! They love the kitty toy that we wave around with feathers and are very ferocious! (They are convinced that they are lion cubs on the prowl!) Both kittens are avid soccer players and love to chase their kitty balls. They were both famished last night and devoured their Eukanuba kitten dry food. This morning I opened a can of Eukanuba kitten wet food and Brutus loved it! Their favorite hanging out place is the “kitty jungles” where they can climb the sisal post and stand tall above us. They also like our older cat’s kitty jungle which has a round tube opening with a diamond. They cuddle together in this space and take naps. They are so affectionate with each other! The kittens do not appear the least bit scared of us although they are not yet responding actively to their names. I think after a couple of days that they will learn that they are BRUTUS and ROBBIE. This morning, Claire and I put the kittens in bed with us and they climbed up on us and fell asleep. I think this is really an indication that they already trust us after 12 hours! Thank you for raising such intelligent, friendly and outgoing kittens. They are truly “personality plus”!!!!

Hello, Amy
I own Latte. Many of you remember Latte. He was always the fattest of the last litter. He was also the cutest! (-: His name back then was Bachus. He loves everyone that walks through the door. He was luck enough to be born on December 31, so at midnight, people go outside and celebrate and I tell Latte it's because of him. He always believes me. I love him like a brother. Everyone says he's the cutest cat they've ever seen. They also say he's the healthiest, and I owe it all to Amy! He is so spoiled! He has fifty-million cat condos and he uses them all! Okay, he has three. One has a little tunnel and lots of connected balls. Another has a short tunnel, a mouse, and a little shelf to sit on. The next one is his favorite: it's huge! It's almost six feet! It has a big scratching post which he uses, a lot of little tunnels, a little hole on the side with a tiny little window, a connected mouse, and a big basket at the top. It has a hole so he can get that high! He usually does backflips on it. He eats healthy foods, and the occasional treat! He is so good with his claws! He knows just how to behave and he never scratches or bites people. Ever! He actually likes it when we clip his claws, and one time I tried it and almost cut into the quick! I still can't do it, but we were able to calm him -and me- down, I never tried it again.
He loves all of my friends when they come over, especially Veronica and Gabriella. Veronica comes over but not often because she lives far away. He hates to see her go and likes showing off for her. Gabriella is allergic but will have her shots in six months! I can't wait and Latte can't either! Anyways, I still recommend Evinea Cattery to anyone and everyone . I wish we could have bought them all ,and the new litter too. Latte loves playing and snuggling. His favorite toy is his gray mouse that he got four Christmas (not real), and an ice cube, Every single time we open up the fridge , he's right at our feet, waiting and crying for one. When he gets bored, he leaves it and it makes a little puddle. Sometimes, I'll pick it up when he gets bored of it, and drop it in his water bowl.

Caesar is one of the most wonderful little kitties that any one could ever have asked for. He is very social and loving plus he is healthy and growing by leaps and bounds. He looks a lot like his mom's pictures and has her beautiful blue eyes and face. He has found out how to climb to the highest book shelf, but thankfully hasn't reached the top of the refrigerator yet. He loves to be petted and groomed so I was able to put the "soft paws" on him without any problems. Some of his favorite toys are some noisy crunchy metallic type balls, 3 little fuzzy toy mice, the bell on his scratching post and my hair scrunchies of all things! He has also started showing interest in watching the TV and loves to look at your web site on the computer. I swear he recognizes the pictures there! When I took him for his first visit to the vet as a newly arrived kitten every one fell in love with him. I also have a picture of him on my mouse pad at work where he gets lots of compliments. He usual sleeps in our bed, sometime on the futon and even occasionally is found napping in the laundry basket. He loves to sit on my lap or chest while I am watching TV or on the computer.
I just want to say thank you once again for such a loving friend.
