Introducing our newest members born August 23rd 2009....
Welcome to the Nursery -- look for weekly updates!

This is where you will see your babies grow. Each week, I will *try* and add new pictures of your babies under the appropriate weekly heading and title. You will see the little ones grown and learn more about their developments and needs.
My recent litter is from Riesling. Reese as we like to call her is from
Germany. She is a our beloved girl whose line can be traced through England back
to one of the first imported cats from Thailand. Needless to say, she is
special.What is a Nursery
Quality Breeders learn the importance of healthy kitten rearing. Newborn kittens immune systems are not fully developed until after their first year of life. However, kittens are most at risk for developing common infections and viruses, similar to colds in children before their first vaccination. Therefore, it's important that kittens are separated from the older cats. The area where the kittens are separated is called the nursery. The nursery is a secured and quiet place where the mama cat can tend to her babies while teaching them the necessary social and development skills for healthy happy kittens.

Notice: Kittens should be
ready around the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. Please make travel
arrangement preparations!!!!
Notice: I will likely be scheduling
the kittens appointments with the vets and estimating their neuter spay
approximately Nov. 12th. All contracts and payments will be due at that
time.
Notice: The family has been sick with the flu 3 down
and 2 to go. Thank you for everyone's words of kindness. The kittens
are one week behind on their vaccinations, so I will need to consult with my vet
regarding their neutering.
